Welcome to my Portfolio

My name is Heidi and I’m an aspiring animation artist currently studying for my A’Levels and this website is where I can showcase my latest work, so it will change throughout the year.

I love trying out new techniques to express myself and love to spend my free time exploring new types of animation and developing character designs. I’m a little bit obsessed with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spider-Man, all things anime and my cat Mimi!

I’m particularly drawn to character design, and often lose myself in creating bug worlds! My interests can range from TMNT (I think I mentioned that already), cooking, my cats and travelling - I especially enjoyed my trip to Japan last year to see all things Ghibli.

A LEVEL ART WORK

A lot of this section is a combination of my GCSE, A-level and Art Club work.

The image you see now is a monoprint i made of my grandfather, this section includes works like these and more that showcases most of the works i did during A level Art. I believe they present the way i express myself through different medias and can’t wait to show you!

This is a final piece i created in a mock during art GCSE - works like these and more are presented within this section. I hope you enjoy seeing the world through my lense!

CLUB SKETCHES

To refine my techniques, I’ve been attending a weekly Art Club outside of school. It’s been exciting to have the freedom to simple draw and not worry about my work being graded. I’ve also experienced learning with a much wider age group which has shown me a variety of drawing techniques and styles.

Sculpture work

My sculpture was an art project for A level we had to complete during the summer. This was thoroughly enjoyable to create and i found this a fun way to express myself through a new form of media.

CHARACTER DESIGNS

This section includes all the designs for a bug world I’ve been creating - from character designs to environmental designs, this world is full of concept art that I thoroughly enjoy making and further exploring. Enjoy!

DIGITAL ART

This section includes all the digital artwork done over the past year or so. This mostly includes fan art from a range of different fandoms such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sonic the Hedgehog and more!
